Haven't put up anything here in over a year. Things haven't changed much for me, which isn't a terrible thing. I just never have anything interesting or urgent to put up here, really. That's why I always decide to never make a blog or...LiveJournal/Tumblr account, I just... don't have it in me.

I am currently in the process of attempting NanoWriMo again. It is kicking my ass, there really is no other way to put it. I am thousands of words behind. That will teach me to skip a day due to being tired, since it's so easily followed by another day, and another. On days off, I'll set out to compensate, but the goal is so lofty and intimidating. Plus it's hard for me to just let go, sit still and write. To just not care what crap comes out of my brain and throw it onto the blank space. I keep wanting to "sprint", but it never happens. If there's any experts out there on allowing yourself to suck and just spilling out hundreds of words, I'd sure like to learn the process.

And of course, by denying myself games, all I want to do while on the computer is play Skyrim and Mass Effect (excitement for the third installment is overwhelming).

Needless to say...I'm beginning to accept that I probably won't be hitting the mark this year. That's missing the point of this whole event, I realize, but...knowing that I managed last year, knowing I could have done it this year, that I had the potential to do it...makes letting myself fall behind unsavory.

I have, however, been thinking of uploading what I wrote last year here, especially since I'm making a lot of changes to it.
